Science Club
So, Mason, the other day, decided that he wanted conduct a simple experiment. He had learned the basic scientific method and some of nomenclature from Science Club at school. He hypothesized that water, when left outside over night, would freeze in the cold. In part to be turd and in part to show him how variables can affect the test, I told him that I thought that it would freeze in the dark. The next day, expecting to have to explain this to him and help him devise a new test, he told us that he wanted to repeat the test but this time we should leave the light on. I love that my son has a gasp on the scientific method that many adults don't have.

Golf and Racing with John and Jane
We had an excellent time last evening playing mini-golf, racing the gokarts, and bumping the cars. Had we an earlier start to the day it may not have been so cold. Thanks John and Jane! We hope to see you guys again in the not so distant future.

GnuPG PHP blog posting interface
I got a good start with the interface for my blog today. I learned a lot about the GnuPG PHP library and I now have an interface that can verify me without having to store passwords or anything like that. I'm going to try and work out something that will provide a simple, twitter-like interface for keybase users that will verify identity with key associated with their account. I've enjoyed getting back to keyboard while at work.
